I heart caffeine. It seems to help me to stay awake. However, drinking a lot and not 'refilling' will cause you to crash heavy eventually.

Caffeine works by blocking chemicals in the brain that tell you you're tired. Eventually this builds and the brain gets used to it. When you stop drinking caffeine, the built up chemicals that tell you you're tired are released and you get reallly tired.

I like to drink Sobe Energy. Never tried the other energy drinks like Red Bull or etc. I tried Tab Energy and it tasted HORRIBLE, though.

I'd recommend herbs like taurine and guarana. And ginseng.

Not really but it does amp you and keep you alert enough to study. You can also drink Cranberry or Orange juices for the same effect and no jitters. Good Luck!

It only helps if you have a mild addiction to the substance. If you're not a coffee drinker, tea, soda, juice, or water can accomplish the same thing.
