I love fish and chips with malt vinegar and tartar sauce - I'm going to have to make some since I haven't had it in a while - thanks for reminding me.

Yes! Pour a little malt vinegar and have plenty of tartar sauce. Ketchup for the chips of course.

Love, love, love it. Spent a semester in London and I certainly had my fair share. If you are in the states and looking for really authentic fish and chips, google A Salt and Battery in NYC. I make sure to drop by whenever I'm in the city. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. I like mine with lots of salt, vinegar and ketchup.
