My herb garden overfloweth! I making a tarragon, cream and wine sauce for chicken tonight. Should I make my Lemon Thyme Rice with it or something else? Any ideas for yummy dishes to pair with this?

I have sage, two kinds of mint, oregano and culantro that need cutting back, as well. Recipes using these (though maybe not for tonight) would be marvy!

It's Friday once again and have begun the dinner time worrying. After work tonight I have to run some errands and later around 7 my fiance and I are going to the movies. So I need a quick meal to make in between that stuff... 20-30 minute prepare/cook time is preferable. We don't like eating fast food. I'm tired of tacos, burgers, mac n cheese, and brats / hot dogs... any ideas? I don't have the patience to search around right now.. It's Friday and I wanna get outta here!! ;)
thanks for your help!

I don't know how it got brought up. lol. But what is it and where does it come from? Is it man made? I'm standing in a room of 4 not-so-bright people.

A chef had his house warming party on television and someone gave him a loaf of bread meaning he'll never go hungry, and I think the gave him a little sugar, and there was something else. Can someone tell me these gifts and their meanings? I would like to do this at my friends house warming party.

I'm thinking of making a chowder of some sort served in bread bowls (just me and the bf). What else should I serve with it? I have three hours to grocery shop, make the soup, and eat before I have to go to my second job!

I usually just put american cheese on buttered white bread and let 'er rip. Occasionally I add some extra ham or tomato, but that's about it. Anyone else have some good ideas?

Does any one know of any good pre-made veggie burgers you can buy at the store? I tryed one today and it was like eating mushed corn. So does anyone have some they really like?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

One of my favorites is to rub the salmon with olive oil, put minced fresh garlic all over it, a bit of salt and pepper and then spread it with pesto. I bake it for about 15 min (depends on the size of the fillet) and it's delicious!

But I'm looking for some simpler seasoning ideas - with shake on seasonings and such. What's your best Salmon Secret?

As of late I've been ordering take out because I work late into the wee hours. I haven't been shopping in like weeks. Yeah. That sucks I know. This weekend I plan on going grocery shopping. It's been such a long time that I'll probably just stand there looking at the "produce" like I've never seen it before!

I have just taken some chicken breast back to my butchers as there was a smell emanating off it- he claimed all chicken smells like that? I have never prepared chicken that has a smell to it- is he correct and it can smell(its like an eggy smell-not pleasant at all) or is he talking rubbish- if he is I am going to the enviromental health.
I have smelt really off chicken-it is vomit inducing- its not that bad ,but it doesnt smell good.
