Does any one know of any good pre-made veggie burgers you can buy at the store? I tryed one today and it was like eating mushed corn. So does anyone have some they really like?
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Boca is great! i tried to be only eat veggies for a few months and this was by far the best! it really taste like a burger and its fast and easy to amke

VEGGIE BURGERS
2 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 c. grated carrots
1/2 c. diced string beans
1/2 c. cabbage, diced
1/2 c. broccoli, diced
1/2 c. mushrooms, diced
1/2 c. onions, diced
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. tamari
1 clove garlic, diced
3 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil
Cheese
Mix all the ingredients together, shape into patties. Heat some oil in a skillet, brown patties on both sides. Place in a baking pan and bake 25-30 minutes. Top with a slice of Cheddar cheese 5 minutes before done. Great with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and the works.

Both Boca and Gardenburger brands make many different varieties; mushroom-based, bulgar-based, bean patties, imitation meat, etc. I've always been partial to bean burgers and soy burgers. Just check your freezer section, and look at the pictures closely; if the burger on the package looks lumpy, it probably has whole peas or corn kernals in it, which is nasty. Overall, I think most people find Boca burgers the best. Try a couple of their varieties; you'll probably be pleased.

Morningstar Farms Grillers Prime! These are the best on the market by far- although Boca are more popular and thus easier to find.
Cook them in a bit of olive oil in a covered frying pan until very well done and serve on a toasted bun with lettuce and tomato. They are fantastic- firm, smoky and very meaty!

I hate Boca-burgers - but if I have to eat a store bought one I like President's choice.

I absolutely LOVE the Boca Burgers. They have a lot of different varieties, and I enjoy the Original and the Roasted Garlic.

there is one i wanna say made by morning star or something but its called "veggie patch burger" and its good..not mushy and actually has veggies you can see in it. Has a great flavor that even my toddler will eat.
