You don't really need recipe's for crockpots. You just put some meat in there. Like a roast beef, a thing of ham, a couple chickens, a turkey. Something like that. Then you put veggies in there with it. You can mix it up quite a bit depending on what type of meat you use. Like for beef use potatos, carrots, maybe some jewel onions. For ham use pineapple, and sweet potatos. For chicken you can use brown rice and potatos. Broccoli, coloflour, green/red peppers. Crockpots are like pizza's. You just put whatever you like in there with about 1/2 a cup of water. Salt, pepper, maybe some seasoning, and put it on low. About six hours later it will be delicious.

I think this recipe is easy and I love using my crockpot! It might take you 10-15 minutes get everything cut up but it really is easy

Stratford’s Sweet Chili
Ingredients:
1 can (19oz) Chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 can (19 oz) Red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
1 can (28 oz) Chopped tomatoes with herbs and spices
1 can (10 oz) Corn kernels, drained
2 Carrots, peeled & diced
2 Large garlic cloves, minced
1 Red onion, finely chopped
1 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup Liquid honey
3 Tbsp Chili Powder
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 green pepper diced
1 yellow pepper diced
1 red pepper diced
Sour Cream
Cheddar Cheese, grated

Directions:
In slow cooker, combine chickpeas, kidney beans, tomatoes, corn, carrots, garlic & red onion. In a bowl combine ketchup, honey, chili powder, and cayenne; mix well and pour into slow cooker. Stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until hot and bubbling. Add green, yellow & red pepper and cook on high for an additional 20-25 minutes. Serve in bowls with a dollop of sour cream and grated cheddar cheese. (We eat with tortilla chips)

Beef tips and Rice

Season stew meat (or cut you roast into small meaty pieces)
Roll meat in flour
Brown meat lightly in skillet with a little bit of oil

Toss all in crock pot (not the oily part, but the bits)
Add about 2 cups water, more if you need it.

Cook on High for 4-6 hours.

You may need more spices and flour and to thicken, but it should be kinda thick as it is.

Any thing you cook on the stovetop in a pot can be cooked in a crockpot. Try a whole chicken. Season it. Set it on low in the morning. It'll fall off the bone that night

Our favorite is corned beef brisket. One brisket with the seasoning packet, a quartered onion, a couple quartered potatoes, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns, water, and a warm light beer.

I've also made Hoppin' John, split pea soup, 15 bean soup, chili, and even used it to stew chicken parts to make stock and have chicken bits for something else. Swedish meatballs are awesome in it. We love our crock pot.
