What kinds of stores sell vegetarian foods? i mean a large selection of vegetarian type foods and possibly some vegan type stores. walmart and jewel just don't carry alot at all. how about somewhere with organic and natural products? somewhere not to expensive too.

meat-eater and my parents won't let me. They say I will become fat, my arteries will clog, my kidneys will be ruptured by the excessive proteins, my joints will be devastated by the uric acid and I will get constipated. Should i take a supplement to ensure i get enough vitamins and minerals?

My friend wants me to make a cake for her baby shower... She wants white/yellow cake... so which taste better with those two? The host of the baby shower wants me to decorate as well, so I don't know how whipped cream icing will hold up, any suggestions would be great! Thanks

I like to slice potatoes thinly and fry with a bit of onion in some bacon grease (I didn't say it was lo-cal.) I put the lid on the pan to partly steam the potatoes so they cook better.

Then when I eat the potatoes, I put dollops of cottage cheese on top. My husband thought I was nuts when he first saw me do it but he tried it and now he does it too.

I know this sounds a bit like poutine but I've tried that a few times and wasn't impressed.

How about the extras that you use to make your sandwich? When I was able to eat spicy foods, I would make a single burger with ketsup, sliced sweet pickles, sweet onion slices, and Grippo BBQ potato chips. They are hot, but oh so good. I mash the top of the bun down really good so the chips will stay on the my burger. I'd like to hear how you spice up your burger, to make it your own. So what's unique about your homeade burger?
