Does anyone have a great fudge recipe that does NOT involve marshmallow?

OLD FASHIONED FUDGE

2 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. light syrup
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Combine sugar, cream, syrup, and cocoa in large saucepan. Cook over low heat until drop in cold water forms medium ball, usually 1 hour. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Beat by hand until thick. Add nuts; spread in buttered platter.

Yes- the one from my microwave cookbook (Litton), but I can't get to it right now. I can't believe how many recipes for supposedly chocolate fudge now have marshmallows or marshmallow cream in them. Not for me. Hope you find a good recipe. Otherwise, ask again tomorrow or over the weekend when I can get at my recipe and I'll type it in hear for you.

BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES

1 1/2 sticks butter
3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 unbeaten eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan. Add rest of ingredients. Pat out in 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
