There's something wrong when you go to a restaurant as a vegetarian and you can't even order a salad that doesn't have meat on it. I know I could ask for it without the meat, but then I'm just paying a ridiculous price for it (they don't take that into consideration on the bill).

What's the world coming to?

I am a diabete, and I want 1/3 cup cooked elbow macaroni. I can't figure out how much uncooked elbow macaroni to use. I want to make a salad with fruit, vegetables, low fat mayo and artificial sweetener. The box of uncooked elbow macaroni says that 1/2 cup uncooked is 56 grams. My diet calls for 1/3 cup cooked (one starch) and doesn't give it in grams.

I can't figure out how to calculate this. I've searched for conversion tables, but my search didn't produce anything.

Can someone help me?

I know sirloin is usually a tender-cut already, so doesn't really need to go in crockpot.... this is only a 2.5lb roast and if I place it in oven , it would shrink even more. I was thinking of browning all sides of the roast in hot oil on stove, then putting in crockpot, adding herbs,carrots,garlic, onion, greenpepper sliced?? along with HP Sauce(like an A1 sauce)mixed with bit of broth or water...I was also going to do some roasted potatoes in the oven seasoned with garlic, oregano, salt,pepper.,.Any other suggestions would be helpful*~ THankyou*~ and how many do you think that would feed? 4? should i just do rice with it? or the potatoes?? ahhhhhhhh* lol~Help*

I need to put about 1 stone. atm i am 6.5 stone and i want to be more than 7, I have a very poor diet and hardly ever eat but I want to end this and I want to see fast results.
If anybody can recommend instant - very fast recipes that will pile on the pounds. Also how much a day should I eat. My stomach is very small and cannot manage a lot at a time. Thanks in advance.

When I was younger , a friend showed me how to make a
simple sauce with barbeque sauce and tequila. After you added the tequila you would cook it out of the sauce over the stove. It was yummy, but I can't remember how to make it.

Unless you own a restaurant and make a profit by being the only one who knows the recipe of a certain meal, why prevent other people from knowing the recipe and being able to enjoy the meal too? I'm just curious as to why some people are so secretive about their recipes, especially family recipes.

I wanna make a delicious Creamy Strawberry (ICY) Ice Cream Shake
heres whats at my house:

-Strawberry Ice cream
-ice
-sugar
-chocolate and vanilla protein powder
-bananas
-Blender
-Oranges
-milk
-And Some Oatmeal lol

Just got rid of our low/high cheapo crockpot, and looking for a nicer one. Definitely want one too with an insert that removes, the outside doesnt get hot, and something I can leave on to cook all night or all day. Dont need too much capacity.
