I found this one, but wanted to know if you have a better recipe-
BLENDER BROCCOLI SOUP

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/3 c. condensed chicken broth
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil (crumbled finely)
1/8 tsp. white pepper
Sliced almonds

Combine broccoli, onions and broth; heat to boiling and simmer 5 minutes. Turn into blender jar; blend smooth (be sure you vent blender so not to get burned). Melt butter in soup kettle; blend in flour. Stir in broccoli mixture, cream and salt, basil and pepper. Heat slowly, just to boiling. Simmer 1 minute, stirring. Top each serving with almond sprinkles. Serves 4.

I love nachos. If I could, i'd eat them 24/7. But obviously I can't. Anyways, I want to turn nachos from a snack into a meal but i'm not sure how. I figured I could just put a whole bunch on a plate, melt some cheese onto it, and then maybe cook some hamburger meat and throw it on there but i'm a lousy cook and chances are i'll just ruin it by doing that. So, if you can, give me some ideas to turn nachos from a snack into a meal. :)

I know you can make elderberry wine, but can you use elderberries like blackberries etc, eaten raw. And is it okay to just break the branch holding them off?

I'm trying to make some rice for sushi...problem is, it comes out gluggy and horrible.

I'm rinsing the rice until the water is clear.....using 3 cups rice, 3 and a 1/3 cups water. Positive that part is okay.

Leave for 30min in a saucepan.

Pop onto a hot element & boil. Reduce to a gentle simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, leave for 15 minutes. all while the lid is on tight.

Then....its..gluggy and sticky. I've tried how i normally cook my rice...(long grain, which always comes out fine) and its still horrid.

Any ideas of what to do? I'm going by this method:
