Last bbq I prepared a week or so ago, : boneless chicken strips/tenders ( I cut myself) put into ziplock bag with
soy sauce
pineapple juice
brown sugar

also strips of beef with same marinade in seperate ziplock.
I grill on weber grill and use long tongs to flip the meat.
grilled veggies on a seperate round pan designed for bbq, so don't have to spend time skewering..
zucchini, onion, portabella mushroom, red pepper. I make a marinade first and let them sit in it, though uncooked veggies really don't absorb it. the marinade is olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, salt. use tongs to turn over frequently.

oh, and I forgot, bbq baby back ribs. that was cheaters bbq though, they came in a package with the bbq sauce already on them. I just had to slow cook them.

Next bbq I'm going to try to smoke a turkey breast. I just heard on radio show how a woman cooks thanksgiving turkey , in cold, sometimes snowy weather, on her weber charcoal grill, by indirect heat. I love smoked turkey, so am going to try it this weekend. It's my birthday on Sunday and that's what I want to eat. too bad I have to make it myself!
