Main----bbq chicken-hot dogs-hamburgers
dishes---- macaroni salad-potato salad---maybe baked beans--I wanted to add pasta salad--done in an italin dressing---
sides---deviled eggs-chips-- dip--with veggies((a nice way to dip is to go to the supermarket and get a bread bowl--you can use the bowl for the dip--then you also have some nice bread for it))
as everyone keeps suggestion wings and ribs---they are good but very messy!!
maybe even some toss salad---maybe even a fruit salad
Desert---brownies are nice---cookies---Watermelon
For wine--have a couple of bottles--each of a nice white--and some red

if you need a main dish for that it can be a steak so that it can fit with the barbecue.. the sides can be a mashed potato with gravy.. salad can be fresh green or caesar salad then for the wine try the best red wine available..

Chicken wings are always a hit. I'm not sure what it calls, but, have you ever had jalapenos wrapped up with bacon and fried, but, jalapeno is filled with cream cheese. I think they sell something similar to it @Papa johns. Fruits and veggie platters, or grilled corns/potatoes with sour cream and cheese are always nice to have. Chicken wings and jalapenos are very hot, so, maybe, non/ alcohol tropical drinks can be served. Nowadays, some people prefer to drink bottled water rather than alcohol beverages. So, many of those, too. Home made brownies are nice to have later on...

OP on bone rib, cooked with quadrillage (criss-cross) marks (from spinning half way through one side's cokking (before turning). Caramelised onions (use brown sugar and some balsamic vinegar). Jacket potatoes with sour cream and chives. Simple tossed salad, don't forget the beetroot (Aussie thing). Try a nice shiraz (my pick is hunter valley)
