So my friends have been saying that if you put a bottle of vodka upside down sticking into a watermelon with the spout of the bottle inside of the melon and let it sit, then all of the vodka will soak up into the melon and you can get drunk by eating slices of the melon. Is this true?

I have just finished makeing home-made apple cider. I wanted to make it into an apple-brandy. I tried freeze distilation but that didn't seem to work. Any other ideas?

Just because she was bored, and she wanted to see how long both of us could last. I think that she has it easy because she's Indian, and she eats a lot of spicy rice and stuff (Amazing stuff, isn't it?), and not as much meat as other people. I don't eat a lot of meat, I already eat a lot of veggie snacks/meals. But I wasn't really vegetarian. Will eating a lot more veggies and fruits and protein from the veggie meals cause me to lose weight? Like, compared to a diet of meat? I know, weird question, but I wanted to know. Thank you so much! Oh, and I don't mean to disrespect vegetarians and why they go veggie. We basically were just bored and wanted to try something new and perhaps a bit difficult, so I apologize ahead of time in case I hurt anyone's feelings. Just understand that I didn't do it on purpose, ;). SMILE! Thanks again, bye!

Well, my mom is pretty much forcing me to eat meat. But I hate it. Could I be a vegetarian without her knowing? and how? PS: I pretty much eat egg whites or toast for breakfast and pack my own lunch... but dinner is going to be a problem. (NO LINKS, my computer is screwed up and I can't follow any!!!)

Steak and mashed potatoes every day, so flavorless and boring! As I write this, I'm enjoying some pine nut and rice-stuffed vine leaves with jalapeno hummus on the side. Put some joy into your life, it will be a change from dead animal pieces.

And I really don't want to get in line when I am really hungry because it takes a longgggg time! If I don't' eat, my stomach hurts for the rest of the day. What are some conveniant lunches I can bring, not snacks!

I just got 10 green bell peppers from my mother-in-law. What can I make with them. My husband doesn't like pepper steak or stuffed peppers.

Hi,

A group of us, whilst on a charity rally across europe, decided to bet a friend £300 pounds that he couldnt eat 5kg of cheese in 4 hours! Oh and he cannot vomit once.

My first question is:
Is eating 5kg of cheese (exact type to be decided) dangerous and could it cause some inner body problems?

Secondly:
Also does anyone actully think it is at all possible?

Many thanks

Chris

I've always bought frozen corn on the cob, (its just sooo easy) but this time I bought some fresh corn in the husk I know you remove all it and the little hairs. What I do after that is what I need to know. Do you boil the water then place the corn in, or do you put it in cold water then bring it to a boil? Also I need to know how long to cook them so they're soft and juicy?

Thanks !!

I was at the grocery store and asked a lady if you can drink buttermilk, she was excited and delighted and said yes and that it was tart and better than milk. So I buy Sinton's Buttermilk, bring it home and it's all thick and yes... tart. I thought it was suppose to be drinkable and good. Am I missing something or is the thick tart taste not in my taste? Or do I just buy another brand?
