Straight shooting jigger (1.5oz) or pony (1oz). The only way I care for it anymore is in a Manhattan, 2 fingers worth (4oz.)

Jack with just a splash of coke, but only if it's Old No.7. Any other jack above that, should be mixed with only ice cubes or served neat.

with great respect and mutual admiration. Jack Daniels is a wonderful, smooth, sipping sour mash whiskey (note, it is not a bourbon.) It is best consumed carefully when poured over ice cubes (not crushed) and just a splash of water added.

as with any alcoholic beverage, please consume sensibly and don't drive when you are drinking.
enjoy it...the hills of Tennessee would be glad you did

Trivia: The county Jack Daniels is made in is a dry county, and it can't be sold or consumed there!

Jack Daniel's can be drank either way. It can be drank as a shot or as a mix drink. For instance if you drink a jack and coke..it would be 2 oz jack and 10 oz coke.

Jack Daniels is a whiskey, and CAN be served as a shot.

NORMALLY for taste whiskeys are served at room temperature and mixed up to 50/50 mix with pure water, and can be 1-2 shots of whiskey... this, of course, is for someone who is drinking for taste of the whiskey rather than just getting done.

For those who just want to get drunk... it's served as jack and coke... but if you're going to mix it with coke you should just save money and go with a cheaper, milder whiskey

I shoot it. But you can fill a bourbon glass about 1/4 of the way and sip it. Alot of people do this. But alot also like it mixed with something, like a jack and coke or a whisky sour. I prefer straight from a shot glass. I wont do more than 3 shots.

Two (and sometimes a half) fingers with a splash of water and some ice. If there's no water and ice. I'll do it neat. No prob, Bob.
