I think you buy them in a store and follow instructions. I have never done it myself.

Try instant mixes.. like Bisquick where all the dry ingriedients are mixed all you add is milk or water and some vegetable oil and mix.. The important thing is to NOT overmix the batter should have some lumps... However, I like to add to the baking mix and make "Oatmeal cookie" pancakes...
2 cups Bisquick or baking mix
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
About 1-2 cups milk.. depending on batter consistancy.. Thin batter= thin pancakes... Thick batter = thick pancakes
2 packets of instant oatmeal I like maple/brown sugar made according to pkg. directions and let cool....
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce or 1 really ripe banana *omit oil in recipe
Ok add vanilla, applesauce/or banana to beaten eggs then add cooled oatmeal
In a seperate bowl.. .Add cinnamon and brown sugar to the dry mix.. Fold wet ingredients into dry.. DO NOT overmix.. Batter should be lumpy...
On a griddle/skillet melt 2 tablespoons of butter on med/high heat... If a water droplet skiddles across skillet/griddle you are good to go....
Use a laddle and drop 1/4 c. of batter onto skillet/griddle about 1/2 inch apart... Let the pancakes bubble and turn solid on the sides and then flip.. cook additional 1 min- 2 min until golden brown....

Seriously, the world's easiest (and yummy) pancakes come in a box and they are "Krusteaz." You only add WATER (most other brands need eggs & milk).
Just follow the directions on the box for the measurements and you should have perfect pancakes!
Always make sure the pan is HOT before you put the batter on. Wait until you see the top of the pancake bubbling and the sides starting to cook before you flip them.
Enjoy with butter & REAL maple syrup.
You can buy Krusteaz at just about all U.S. grocery stores. Here's their website with directions on how to make their pancakes:

Good luck!

Buy Pancake mix, or Jiffy All Purpose Mix, or Bisquick.
Youll need mix, egg, oil, milk for the batter
Let batter sit on counter 3 minutes before cooking.
Pour prepared batter onto hot buttered griddle or fry pan
Turn over when bottom is brown, or bubbles on top pop and look dry.
Cook quickly on second side - then serve with butter and maple syrup
