Sarah has the right answer. Cut the batch in half and add more tomato, cilantro & salt.

Afraid it's too late for this batch....next time use red onions - they're sweeter and have a much better taste than yellow onions. When mixing, just add a little, then taste - you can always add more onions...Good Luck!

Do you have more tomatoes? Just add more, and make the batch larger. Or add some more of any other veggies- green pepper, chopped green chiles, tomatillos etc. Or pick the onions out.

Try using shallots next time, You only need one of them. They are a member of the onion family but not as strong and sweeter tasting.

Add cilantro and a few more tomatoes. Be careful, you can overdo cilantro also......possibly a tad of sugar may help also.
