is ok just fine to eat? i finished my banana and towards the end it got a lil black in the middle and it tasted just fine...now my tummy is rumbling just a lil...is it recomended to eat that part or just toss it?

All through the center of a banana are the un-developed seeds. They don't develop due to selective breading. The seeds would be black.
The black increases from ripening, but it's fine. I prefer bananas VERY ripe(half covered in spots). And I eat 25 a week. Bananas are one of the friendliest foods on my system.

When my grandfather was still alive he preferred bananas to be a little brown. I don't like the taste of the black part and usually just cut it out, but it doesn't harm you. Yes vegetarians eat bananas, they haven't got a brain so no need to worry about abuse.
The older bananas are better for cooking with because they have a stronger flavor.

You have nothing to worry about. When the sugars start to breakdown in fruit, it causes black and brown spots. Dont forget that bananas grow on a tree and the vine is attached to the tip, so the center of the banana is like its nervous system.

It's OK a lot of people are sensitive to bananas. Tip for the day: If you are like the old lady who lived in a shoe and you got more bananas than you know what to do, do throw them in the freezer and they will keep for a real long time...:)
