I've only used bananas as a dessert but I've got a great recipe for one! Take a heavy skillet and melt as much butter as you like or will make a bit of sauce for the amount of bananas you'll be using. When the butter melts slice a banana into four sections (in half and once down the middle) and add those to the sauce you're making, sauteing for just a minute or two. Add some white or brown sugar, enough to thicken it and continue to 'brown' the sugar. Then take a bit of orange juice and start to thin it out until it's almost the perfect consistency. Then take some "Cointreau" or any good Orange Liqueur and thin it out the rest of the way. The alcohol will burn off! Put the warm bananas into dessert dishes, drizzle the sauce over them and enjoy!

Peel any you don't use up immediately and freeze in a single layer in sealed plastic bags. It is then easy to break off what you need. I agree with many posters, banana bread (I posted a recipe here a few weeks ago) or muffins. Banana ice cream is also very easy, just mash with yoghurt and honey, put in ice cream maker or freeze, stirring every hour or so. Banana split, banana smoothies. For a facial mask, mash with a little honey and cream, spread on face, leave on 10-15', rinse off.

i personally don't have any recipes.. but i did go through a banana phase where i wanted bananas to be cooked in everything..
...there should be a sticker on the banana which lists websites or the traders and there they will give you hundreds of recipes... i cant remember the site i went to but it was VERY good..
..i bought some bananas today... it doesn't give a website but the traders are 'Fyffes from Costa Rica'.. so you can try typing that into a search engine and see what you get.

Put water, salt and butter in saucepan; bring to boil. When boiling, add flour all at once and stir until it leaves the edges. Remove from heat and let cool about 2 minutes. Bake in preheated 400F oven for 10 minutes and without removing, lower heat to 350 and bake about 25 minutes longer. Cool. *Filling* 2 cups whipping cream 2 tbsp sugar 2 large ripe bananas 2 tbsp Kahlua Whip cream (on highest setting) until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, whipping until stiff. Mash bananas to make one cup (I use a potatoe masher) and fold into whipped cream along with Kahula. Slice pastry in half and fill. *Topping* 5 oz semi sweet chocolate (about 4-5 squares) 1/4 cup butter Melt butter and chocolate together and drizzle over top! TRY TO WAIT UNTIL THE CHOCOLATE COOLS BEFORE SCARFFING THESE DOWN!

yummy deserts ^.^
This is what I usually do...
slice them about half an inch thick, drop em in a bowl
cover em with sour cream
and add a generous amount of sugar
as the others have suggested, banana bread is gewd as well..
mix some flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla pudding, baking powder, add some sugar:mix till it gets lighter
add 2 eggs *one at a time, add some milk
drop in the flour mashed bananas
Get a pan, lightly grease it, pour the stuff in.
set in the oven at about 350 degrees leave it for 40 minutes, cover with foil... thats about it... as far as memory serves, havent done it in ages...so you're gonna have to look up the specific info
