I think I would be able to because I wouldn't want to slowly starve to death and miss out on the chance to sell a good survival story.

It depends. Is the person already dead? If they were then I would rather eat them than die, but I dont't think I could kill another person just for a source of food. However, if this person was in the same situation as me and tried to kill me for meat, then I wouldn't have a problem in getting to them first!

Ive read the reports and stories of people who have with no other choice resorted to cannibalism. Its a disturbing subject, but Ive never been at the brink of starvation and the choice of life or death. If faced with it, morality, religion, human respect, dignity, self respect, would all play in the final decision. But in the end, life would prevail.

If it was a question of survival then yes i hate to say it but i would and so would anyone else if death was facing them, as we know it has been done already as a matter of survival, on a few occasions!!!

I would have no problem with eating another person in order to survive, they say it tastes a bit like Pork and I love pork!
The only problem might be if you get a taste for it, and when you get back to civilisation you start thinking about eating it again!

From what I recall, human meat tastes like burnt pork. I'd eat me some human. In fact, I don't even have to be starving. I'd like to travel to the jungles of South America and sit down for lunch with one of those cannibalistic tribes, then I could partake of some tasty human! (Well as long as they didn't have me for the "lunch.")

It would be difficult, but I think I could summon the inner strength necessary. Like you said, the alternative is a slow death.

As long as they were dead and I didn't murder them to eat them. I can't see that I'd have a problem. I wouldn't have a problem being Sunday supper either, under the same conditions.
