I have to cut caffeine out of my diet for health reasons. I'm okay with decaff tea, but I cannot find a decent decaff coffee. They all taste like mud, and I do love a nice cup of rich, full coffee. Any suggestions please?

The special was a hot sandwich-usually roast beef, roast turkey or meatloaf. Green beans always featured somewhere. A choice of mashed potato or french fries with gravy poured over everything-even the fries.Roll on the side. Does anyone remember this-and do you have a place that serves this retro food where you live?

Every time I have tried to make it (and it's been years since I've even attempted it), there's like a layer of grease, my meatloaf, with a little bit of grease in it.

What am I doing wrong? How do I fix it where it's actually good?

'Cause I sure don't! Okay I'm a beginner when it comes to cooking. I've tried out some type of fried chicken before with some seasoning, but it never tasted as good as the ones my mom makes. I want to learn how to make all types of fried chicken. So if you're willing to share with me what you know on how to cook fried chicken, then THANKS! ^_^ Also... about how much time should the chicken sit on one side? Should I drown the chicken in oil lol? High, medium, low heat??? What kind of oil do you recommend to cook it with. Thanks for those who help out! :D

I always see gold leaf used on cakes and chocolate desserts etc. Is it only that there is so little that it does not effect your system, or is it actualy edible? are there any health effects from eating alot of it?

I love gourmet cooking and have no problem going to a lot of effort and seeking out obscure ingredients. I want really good recipes that will work well together. Any good websites that exclusively feature Mexican cuisine? (please, not allrecipes or recipezaar!) Thanks

My dad grew up eating C-ration canned bread in the mid-60s. My grandmother use to buy them at Sunbeam bakery. I'm hoping to get a description of the taste and texture so i can try to recreate it for him. All I can get out of my dad is that it was dense bread that was delicious. Thanks for any help. (P.S. they no longer make this bread, the tins you buy on ebay is vintage bread, I'm wanting edible bread) :)

At the moment I am trying to contact Sunbeam's mother company. For those who remember the bread, could you describe it to me, please? (sweet, dry, flavorless, buttery, yeasty, eggy, etc) Thanks for all your answers.

I don't like to cook a lot so I'd liek to find a food that I can buy that includes all necessary vitamins and minerals and amino acids that is fairly cheap and I can live off of. I want to see how cheap I can live this month.
