Here are some of my favorites and they're simple, too!

Slow Cooker Teriyaki Steak

2 1/2 pounds boneless chuck steak
2 T. oil
1 t. ground ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 T. sugar
1 clove garlic, crushed

Cut steak into 1/8” thick slices. Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl. Place meat in crock pot. Pour sauce over meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over rice.

Italian Style Meat & Mushroom Sauce

2 pounds ground beef, browned (or 1 beef, 1 pork sausage)
1 1/2 T. Italian seasoning
4 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
2 onions, chopped
2 sm. cans sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped parsley
3 cans (8 oz. ea.) tomato sauce
1 cup dry red wine
2 to 3 t. salt

Combine all ingredients in crock pot; stir well. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low 8 to 12 hours.

Marinated BBQ Brisket

4 to 5 pound fresh beef brisket
1/2 t. garlic salt
2 t. unseasoned meat tenderizer
1/4 cup liquid smoke
1/2 t. celery salt
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. seasoned salt
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce

Place brisket on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle tenderizer and seasonings on both sides of meat. Pour liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce over top. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 10 hours or overnight. Place foil-wrapped brisket in slow cooker (cut in half, if necessary, to fit easily). Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours. Serve with barbecue sauce.

Chunky Chili

1 pound lean ground beef
1 bay leaf
1 small onion, chopped
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. salt
2 cans (8 oz. ea.) tomato sauce
2 t. chili powder
2 cans (15 oz. ea.) kidney beans

Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the kidney beans. In the crock pot, combine the beef with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. Be sure to remove bay leaf before serving. This is a very thick chili. Add 1 cup of water to make a thinner chili. Serve with rice or corn chips and cheese.

I LOVE my crockpot - there's nothing like coming home and knowing dinner's already done! : )
Here are some recipe sites I have found VERY helpful. Nothing complicated and no fancy ingredients, but very easy and still good!

Good luck and God bless! : )

Pot roast is the easiest and one of the best so it would be a great starter for you.
Season roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
Place in crock pot and pour some red wine over it.
If you want veggies with it, top with a layer of potatoes, carrots, green bell pepper, onion, celery, garlic, mushrooms or whatever you like.
Season vegetables with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Top with a can or 2 of cream of mushroom soup.
Start on low early in the morning and when you get home at night it will welcome you home when you open the door.
