I can't drink MILK (intolerance) I quit drinking soy (developed allergy & bad rep) So I buy some RICE milk. I am finding that isn't so great in searches on the internet.

Can somebody tell me what to put in my cereal???

Does filtering water before drinking it actually do anything to it? According to the water quality reports, tap water in the US is safe to drink, so I am wondering if the filter serves as mainly a psychological thing. Can anyone point to any studies on this?

I am a single mom of 3 children, and now that it is summer 2 of my children are away visiting their dad. I only have one child at home right now. With my feeling of freedom and lack of homework every night, I am indulging in a couple of glasses of wine about every night. I still cook for my son, spend time with him and find myself much more relaxed and less stressed and more easy going. I am afraid that I will develop a dependence. , but I am really enjoying and looking forward to my wind-down time in the evenings with a couple of glasses of wine. Keep in mind that normally, I drink only on a blue moon (figuratively). Should I cut back to weekends only to give myself a break? Should I be concerned? I feel guilty due to the fact that I preach to my children about moderation.

My step-father who was hispanic used to make a green salsa/hotsauce when I was little, it was extremely extremely hot and just a small (quater sized amount) on a chip would practically light your mouth on fire.

Do you limit/cut out meat consumption because you don't have a taste for it?

I am not a Vegan, Vegetarian or any sub category or limiting meat or animal product consumption.
I just don't have a taste for meat. It does not appeal to me.


I know a lot of people have their reasons, Health reasons, impact on the environment, cruelty etcetera, but I just don't like the taste.

Milk leaves a retched taste in my mouth, is that odd?
