This question boggles the mind. Far more people greet the morning wondering how to make NON-burned toast.

You want burnt toast? Get an old, secondhand toaster, whose timers and temp sensors are shot, and you'll burn your toast every time.

Burnt toast is bad for the body, dearie.
Make it a wee bit less toxic ....just put the bread in the toaster for a longer time and get it a darker brown and it will be very crispy.

Turn your toaster to high, and place the sliced bread into the slots, push the handle down, and when it rises, voila! burned toast. If you have no toaster, try placing the sliced bread under your broiler and let it stay until one side is dark, then flip and darken the other!
