I normally drink sugar-free vanilla nonfat lattes, however, since the weather is warming up I want a cold, blended vanilla coffee.

Oncer I was told, from a Starbuck's barista, that the drink I wanted was a vanill frappucino - he made it for me and it was EXACTLY what I wanted.

However, since that time, I've ordered a vanilla frappucino from Starbucks and it's not the same ... I've had vanilla bean and also vanilla creme - neither of these have coffee/espresso in them - they taste like a vanilla shake.

I just need to know what to ask for so that I can have my cold, blended vanilla 'latte'.

I want to make some homemade hummus/hummous,but all the recipes have say put the ingredients in a blender,I don't have a blender.Surely I could still make this by hand,I have a mortar and pestle so could I do it in this or even in just a big bowl and make sure I mash it all good and proper. What do you think?

Over a normal evening I'll have four to six glasses of wine. (I make my own wine from kits and have done so for most years, keeping about 40 gallons in my cellar.) Every week or two, a night will go by with no alcohol at all. Or, as often, I'll have a pals' pub night and put away a few pints.

For many years I've maintained this level of moderation. My liver is in good shape, and a hangover's fairly rare, maybe one a month. I don't want to change my life dramatically. But I know I have a low to medium dependence on alcohol, and don't want it to get worse.

Can I keep this up into my 60s and 70s? Without sending me to some pathetic 12-step program, what suggestions can you offer?

Have you ever eaten a piece of fruit and forgot to look and see if it had a sticker on it? How many of those does the average American eat in a lifetime?

I had a Greek Cypriot friend once whose granny used to send her a kind of cake/bread every Easter, it wasn't sweet, quite savoury, but my friend said it was traditional. It was GORGEOUS! Does anyone know if there is a traditional Greek Cypriot bread/cake made at Easter and if so, can I buy it in London anywhere? I wonder whether it was traditional, or just granny's own invention. Thanks!
