Well, Ina's kind of dated herself, so it fits. :-) I like her recipes, they never come across as pretentious to me. Which is good, because as a student, I don't have the money for pretentious ingredients. A lot of her recipes remind me of my grandmother's cooking, hearty and crowd-pleasing. It's old-style food, very filling. But they really are kind of 90s style catering recipes. Unless I have people coming over, I halve her recipes, because they make SO much food.

No not really. Some can be, yes. She usually cooks to serve elite friends. If you are looking for recipes that are more to your liking or updated to todays scene use your search engine and type in "recipes.com" all the recipe sites have search engines within themselves.
