When I was stationed overseas in the Army I had meat on a stick a couple times. They wouldn't tell us what the meat is but we narrowed it down to camel, dog, or mystery meat.

In regards to food that I liked I have had escargo (snails) which was good. I had snitzels when I was in Germany, Capezio salad in Italy which is Italian mozerella sliced with tomatoes served with oil and vinegerette, I had onion soup in Parish which France is well know for. The onion soup has a layer of cheese melted on the top of the soup. When I was in Thailand I had Chicken Sate which is chicken on a stick marinated in peanut sauce. And when I was in San Francisco in the Sunset District I tried Ethiopian Food which consisted of a huge porous floured tortia and they put the different food dishes on this tortia and you eat it with your hands. It was spicey.

a fresh durian. Smells like a babys diaper, but the awesome almondy custard is amazing. Wish I could get my hands on another-I ate one while on vacation in Maui. Poi is another really odd, pointless food. I have eaten gator tail, conch, octopus, rattlesnake, emu, ostrich, bison and eel.

Durian, roasted ants, snails, goat, 100 year old egg (an egg that has been packe din an ammonia and clay , mixture and buried underground and left to sit for 100 days, so its not actually 100 years old but it still is really old and bizarre for a western palate), Pig snout/tail/intestine/ears
