Are there any bags/rolls out there that you can buy in the store that are compatible to the FoodSaver vacuum sealer machines that ACTUALLY WORK just as well? FOODSAVER bags are quite expensive and I want to save a few bucks on bags/rolls. I've been on eBay and are kinda skeptical of the sellers who claims that their bags are so-called compatible. PLEASE, only people who actually have tried the compatibles answer. THANKS!

My brother turned 21 when my mother and I were out of town, he is on a low-carb diet and I would really appreciate a delicious low-carb cake that I could make him as soon as I get back. He only has 20 carbs a day, so if there could be a cake in which servings have less than 20, that would be fantastic! I also dont want any that only give him a sliver of cake, help? Please?

I havent eat meat for 1 month now because of how gross it looks raw and how animalas are treated unfairly.. milk has puss in it, yuck. eggs are unborn chickens, ewww. how do i know plants are being hurt when we kill them. Then i think of all the preservitives. I am hungry all the time. What kinds of things can i eat or change my thinking. Help no appettie??? the thought of how food is made..

I need to know because I've started to drink a lot of soda pop lately, and I'm sort of addicted.

if there's anyone here from san francisco, i'd love to find a recipe that is similar to the marinade used at asqew (the restaurant with all the skewered food).

if not, just a really good marinade for tofu. also, i drained and froze my tofu - should i thaw it before marinating it, or just put it in the fridge with the marinade on it for a day to thaw?

i've cooked with tofu lots before, but my wife is really picky about tofu, but loved the stuff from asqew, so i'm trying to replicate it as best i can!
