Just wondered if combining them all tonight would be too much sitting altogether. Would it be better to get everything ready then add the meat in the morning before i turn it on?

I've found that buying frozen juice instead of bottled, cube butter instead of the tubs, powdered laundry soap instead of liquid are all much cheaper ways of buying these products. Do you have any others?

I've butchered all kinds of animals from deer to squirrels, but never butchered a hog for bacon before.

I'm learning how to smoke foods and will eventually butcher a hog for food, but was curious as to what cut is the bacon cut.

My husband and I are going away ALONE for the first time since our 7-month-old was born. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some really good wines we could bring along with us. Something in the $20/bottle range. I like Pinot Grigio, Shiraz, Cabernet.

HI all. I'm getting a limo for a birthday celebration and the limo provides pepsi, diet pepsi, and sprite. What alcohol goes good with these to make some tastey drinks?

My gramma used to make several dishes before she died that I really liked but never knew how to make. The first one, I don't know how to spell it but I've always heard it pronounced moo-gon-s'luh and is made with olives & raisins. The second one has something to do with baking cucumber slices with olive oil & wheat germ. I know there's other ingredients to these & i've never known how to make them. If anyone has heard of these and has or knows of their names & recipes please reply. Links ok, but names & recipes preferred. Thanx so much
oh, ps, I think they're greek.

I have always relied quite heavily (lol) on pasta based recipes, but want to get away from this and other carbohydrate based foods. But I dont want to be spending a lot of time preparing meals. What do you suggest? What foods can I use more that are less likely to lead to weight gain while still being easy to prepare? Thanks!

My hubby loves peanut butter cookies and I just got some cute heart shaped cookie cutters. I want make him some heart shaped peanut butter cookies to send them to him in Iraq but I don't know if there are any recipes that would allow me to roll out peanut butter cookie dough and make them heart shaped...because of texture and what not. Help!

It's FREEZING here. None of this stuff looks great right now, and no recipe sites are giving me anything good when I fire in some of these ingredients. Yeah, I can make spaghetti and cheese. But...

On hand:

rice
potatoes
pasta
bulghur
chickpeas
barley
spaghetti sauce
onion soup mix (?)

cheese (feta, cheddar, swiss, etc)
lettuce
onions
1 blah green pepper
celery
half tub sour cream

I have the very basic basics like milk, eggs, flour and butter, too.

And I mean SUPER FAST! I mean 30 minutes TOTAL max - not 30 minutes prep, and 20 minutes cooking it. I have a 7-month-old and it NEVER FAILS...everytime I begin cooking he freaks out (not to mention that I work full time and I just don't have alot of time anyway). I really need to start pulling my weight when it comes to dinner - my poor husband either has to cook himself or eat takeout. I bet I've cooked twice since the baby was born.
Can anyone help me please?
