I've found that buying frozen juice instead of bottled, cube butter instead of the tubs, powdered laundry soap instead of liquid are all much cheaper ways of buying these products. Do you have any others?

Generic is cheaper than name brand.
The bigger the container, the cheaper (generally).

You can check most grocery store prices have small print with prices of each product per ounce, so you can tell how much you'll save on one or the other of two different sized items.

Fun Fact: The delivery date of bread can be determined by the color of the twist tie or plastic tag. The alphabetical order for the names of the colors represent days of the week.

Monday - Blue
Tuesday - Green
Thursday - Red
Friday - White
Saturday - Yellow

buy fruit and vegetables that are in season or else buy frozen vegetables. when buying in bulk its some times cheaper and using refill liquids instead of buying the bottles with the spray tops on them

try generic brands, and price the bulk pack items sometimes buying bulk is cheaper, also discount food stores
