Every year my sister thaws her turkey for almost a week and every year we cannot remove the giblets, they seem still frozen in place. We wind up cooking the turkey with giblets in place, until we can finally pry them out of the bird. Needless to say very messy dangerous business!

My turkey came out dry, and it rested for an hour after I took it off the grill. I wonder if the resting was part of the reason it was dry.

On what basis pineapple juice is considered a good substitute for mirin, when making teriyaki sauce? Is it the flavour, is it some substance that is present in both? What is it? If anyone knows any other good substitute, except for sherry, please share.

Ok on thanksgiving yesterday, some of my cousins were drinking shots with some vodka,rum,grey goose,and some red bull, and im 13 so is my cousin we were drinking them but i didnt drink alot but my cousin he drank alot he was lookin all drunk and woosy but hes only 13 and his parents allowed him to drink some but i didnt ask my parent but i still drank some anyways it was good though. After i felt weird after but then i got better so did my cousin.
Are we too young to get drunk and drinks shots? That whole exprience was halarious.

I used to work at a grocery store and they said it's their deadest day. I need groceries so bad, but don't want to fight any crowds. What are they like in your town? We have about 5 or 6 grocery stores to choose from.
