Bought some cheap guaca at the store, and for certain reasons it was essentially left out for 6 hours, BUT, it did so unopened. No one ever got into it and I put it in the fridge after I got home. Still good, do ya think? I got rid of it anyway, but I'm just curious for the future.

I ask this question after seeing the new James Bond movie Casino Royale. He is poisoned, so he grabs a glass, empties an entire salt shaker into it, adds water and drinks it. I figured this would cause him to vomit the mixture along with the poison. I am not questioning the movie tactic just wanted to know if this is a good thing to do if someone ingests poison, I would not want to try this and not have it work as that amount of salt is not healthy if it is not vomited. Thanks!

I'm a pretty good cook now. However, I'm still a beginner and I would like to get more experience in making meals from scratch. Does anybody know of any cook books or guides that will assist me in making great family meals from scratch? I'm looking to make things like Turkey, Ham and Chicken meals, homemade apetizers, desserts. If there is a good cook book that I should check out, please let me know. Thank you everyone.
