I am planning to be a vegetarian but the only obstacle here is protein. I know beans and soy can provide you with proteins but is it sufficient?

Whenever I eat a croissant at my desk at work it ends up EVERYWHERE, even if I'm very careful and eat over the tesco bag. Is there a fool-hardy way to eat your breakfast without needing the hoover?

I have an authetic American silverplate teapot that dates from the Civil War. Virtually all the pate has been worn off, leaving the pot dark, as if it were made of lead.

I wish to serve tea in it, as it is sound for this purose, but it looks rather dark and unappealing. Re-silvering it would restore its brillance.

However, it IS an historical piece, and being 140 years old, I'm told that I could ruin the value of the piece by altering it in this way.

What to do? Ruin the value by re-silvering it so that can be used, or leaving it sitting on a shelf looking like an inheiretance from the Addams Family?

I'm torn both ways, and hope that someone has the insight to sway me one way of the other.

Thanks for all imput!

Any ideas?
Please, I don't need no tips on how to eat wealthy and reprimands on how we shouldn't miss lunch! (Last time i tried to ask the same question I had a lot of reprimands and no ideas)
Thanks so much for all the help.

Every time my wife or I chop onions we remember that there is supposedly a way to keep your eyes from tearing up. What is it?

Has anyone tried grape flavored vodka and sprite?
It is a great drink. And, yes, I'm the one who suffers from a red nose when I drink, so this one may be a better choice for me so that it is not as noticeable. And, sorry, but I don't like looking like a reindeer either. :)

German chocolate cake did not originate in Germany. In 1852, Sam German developed a sweet baking bar for Baker's Chocolate Co. The product was named in honor of him -Baker's German's Sweet Chocolate. Can you tell me who and where it was made?

Thanks in advance!!

What are good recipes? Does anyone know of any special ways to package the treats and how to keep them fresh until they are received? How much or how big a box can be sent? Are there any regulations on what can be sent?

I am shipping to France, from there the package will go to an undisclosed Middle Eastern country from the United States.
I am sending to my fiance who was recently injured when a building collapsed on him. He is a soldier.
