What are good recipes? Does anyone know of any special ways to package the treats and how to keep them fresh until they are received? How much or how big a box can be sent? Are there any regulations on what can be sent?

I am shipping to France, from there the package will go to an undisclosed Middle Eastern country from the United States.
I am sending to my fiance who was recently injured when a building collapsed on him. He is a soldier.

Well, when I was overseas my mom packed cookies and fudge in air-tight wrapping , then buried it all in a box of popcorn. The popcorn protected the goodies, and although the popcorn was a little stale, it was still a great treat. Later, I fed the popcorn to some ducks and pigeons. Don't send anything that is flammable or objectionable. As for size, try to keep it as small as possible, 10"x12"x8" is a good size, a little bigger or a little smaller... Thank your soldier for me, I appreciate his service, and I'm sure he will love any treats you send him(and his friends).
