Bought some cheap guaca at the store, and for certain reasons it was essentially left out for 6 hours, BUT, it did so unopened. No one ever got into it and I put it in the fridge after I got home. Still good, do ya think? I got rid of it anyway, but I'm just curious for the future.

It depends a lot on what it is in it. If there is mayonnaise or mayo ingredients in it ... throw it out.

If it is covered and classic guac ... avocado, lemon, tomatoes, spices, it should be OK.

don't take the chance, sounds like you made the right decision, a trip to the doctors office isn't cheap, and barfing guacamole sounds real bad.

Don't eat it is bad, Open it and return it to the store for replacement (don't tell them spoilage was your fault) just don't make a habit of it. Other wise your money is wasted and just toss it.

Should have been fine, although the shelf life would have been diminished.
