what does bay leaf taste like (eg mint or a hot taste and so on) and is there a replacement for it ? im not sure that if i leave the bay leaf out my recipe it will still taste good. thank u :)

I went to a vegan chinese restaurant and I tried fake meats for the first time ever. I was quite impressed by how they managed to replicate fish and meat.

My question is what do vegetarians/vegans think of fake meat/fish? Do you enjoy it or do you hate it?

Currently I use the ‘Karahi/Fry Gosht Curry Mix’ by Shan for my curries but it’s quite sour. There are plenty of other curry powders but I haven’t a clue what’s good. I really need it to be an all purpose curry powder.

Just want to throw and 'out there' question in for the day.
I love the banana runts and will buy boxes of runts just to pick out the bananas and toss the rest away, I know that is very wastefull but they dont sell the bananas by themselves around here.
