No. It may seem non-intuitive, but high levels of capsaicins actually inhibit digestive problems. For more info, go to this site:

I use chillies, seeds as well, in about 80% of the food i cook and i am ok. But i don't think i could eat scotch bonnet peppers on a daily basis, that would be a bit TOO much!! Besides, i'm not overly keen on their flavour, i prefer the long thin chillies, they're still way hot enough for me!

Eating chillies would probably not harm you especially if you had become accustomed to it. Scotch Bonnets on the other hand are the hottest peppers in the world. I don`t know if anyone could eat one without harm.

no...but it can make you angry. Too much pepper, how ever it comes, either from ground and whole black pepper, or chilli as they are also hot, scotch bonnets are even hotter, if you are cooking with them, dont add ground or crushed pepper, one or the other.

I have always read "Chilies" are good for many things in ones health. If the really hot ones give you problems try milder ones. They do not damage your insides even if they upset your system.
