its not really. it has less calories but a ton more salt so you really have to decide which is worse. if you drink like a fish then diet. if you only have o soda once in a while regular.

A can of regular soda typically has about 100 calories. There is research that if you drink a soda a day, you are likely to gain 10-15 pounds per year. It makes sense if you think about it. 100 calories X 365 days in a year = 36,500. I know diet doesn't taste as good as the real thing, but it pays off in the end.

It really isn't much better. Regular soda has a lot of sugar where diet soda has a lot of sodium. There is only one that I have found that has neither and that is diet rite zero. However all I drink is water.

Well, that is subjective....depends on who you ask.

On the upside, it is calorie free....and doesn't stain, or leave things sticky, if spilled.

The downer is all the sodium, and I really don't think it helps very much if you are dieting. I drink diet. Gotta have it! lol

Better as in healthier or better as in taste?

The second one is a matter of opinion.

As for healthier, I think it has less calories or something, but if you want healthy just drink water.
