Whenever I go out to a sushi bar I always see at least one or two people eat only the toppings like salmon, crab salad, etc...and they just leave the sushi rice on the plate. Why? I think they should just ask the wait staff if they can specially make them dishes without the rice instead of wasting food. Don't you think so? I'm sure the sushi chefs won't mind cause most of the time they aren't that busy when the whole sushi boat is full.
