You can add a little beef broth, or the packaged beef gravy mix. Also, onion soup mix...
Have you ever tried using course ground sea salt when cooking meats? It really brings the flavor of the meat out!

I always put in 1/2 cup water, and 1 package of onion soup mix...you can use more water if you want. Then I salt, pepper, garlic salt, and onion salt it.
Remember with beef: the LONGER cook it the better it will be.
I always cook mine on high in the crockpot for about 6 hours then 1 or 2 hours on low and they always turn out YUMMY!

Carrots, onions, celery, bay leaves, garlic, zucchini, cauliflower, cabbage. Just about ANY vegetable cooked with a roast tastes yummy, plus they add so much flavor. Make sure you add some beef broth or beef buillion cubes.

Onions or dried french onion soup mix. Make gravy out of the drippings... YUMMY!!

Add in some potatoes and carrots about an hour before you want to serve.

ENJOY!

Some cut up carrots and celery pieces are great. Dip a spoon in and baste the roast every once in a while.

I add onions halved. baby carrots, whole mushrooms & parsley to go with the potatoes, it's a BIG slow cooker, the family has loved both beef & pork that way for years & years.

You did good.

Now just let it sit there for 4 more hours or so (depending how big it is).

How about some carrots?

Hope it comes out great!
