Ok well i am a working single dad of two kids, 3yr old son and 1yr old daughter. I know what to get for them in terms of baby food, well mainly for the daughter. I know the son eats table food and all but here is my dilema.

My wife just upped and left us. She was the one that stayed home fed the kids etc, while i worked. Now that she is gone i really dont know what i need in terms of what should i have in the fridge so i have a variety to choose from in terms of eating three good meals a day. Two of which i will cook and a choice for the babysitter to cook.

I am not used to cooking three meals a day, or cooking period, i know how to cook, i love to cook. But for the last four years my wife has done that work, and she used to make the grociery lists etc. I want more than just hamberger helper or mac and cheese to choose from.

Any mothers or dads out there that have a full fridge? Right now my fridge is pretty empty and im buying two out of the three meals a day.

thanx

without adding toxic chemicals, and I don't trust just rinsing in water.
e-coli is in the news, but aside from that, there can always be other stuff on it that could even give just a mild stomach infection

My family loves meat and will not understand, but i hear veggie is healthy. Also, isn't vegan cutting out milk? I don't know really, so please tell me. I hear switching to soy milk is good for you, but I love milk. Is soy milk good? I have never met a veggie that I didn't fall in love with eventually, and it will be no problem for me. Please explain, because what do I eat instead of dairy?

I absolutely love guiness but I can't stand the price. Almost $8 for 4 cans? It's good but not even worth it at that point. I'm thinking a beer like that MUST have several reasonable copy cats. Can somebody help me out ASAP, I plan to head for the store right now as soon as I get a good suggestion. Thanks! :)

I have a set of porcelain that I got last Christmas. Almost every piece is chipped. I have heard that Corelle is a good brand that doesn't chip. Any other suggestions?

I would like a recipe (perferablely vegetarian, otherwise I can modify that myself), for stuffed grape leaves that I can cook in my crockpot. I have searched for some online, but am having trouble finding the cooking instructions for a crockpot.

Also, a question about the rice. Is it cooked, uncooked, or partly cooked when you roll them. Or, what type of rice? long grain, short grain? Most recipes do not specify these details.

Finally, the amount of liquid to use for cooking. Do I need to fully cover the rolls?

Please be as specific as possible.

My family were from Istra. My mother made this wonderful topping when she made Pasta al Forno. It was made from bread soaked in milk, eggs and parmesan cheese. Is this a traditional recipe or did my mum make it up? I am looking for a recipe.
