I work as a cook at a college and this is what I do...
it's pancakes and sausage
or
french toast and bacon.
I don't serve any meat with waffles unless there is some good ham available.

I think Syrup would work better than pork products. The real Maple kind is my favorite rather than the artificially flavored sugar gunk like Log Cabin or Aunt Jamima.

oh come on now both are GREAT. can't get enough. my doctor said to stop pigging out on that stuff. i love bacon and links with French fries. what a meal. high blood pressure heaven.

depends on what mood ur in, if ur feeling lazy ur gonna want to go with sausage, or ur energized eat the bacon
