Combine in a bowl- chocolate cake mix, orange juice (instead of water), oil and whatever else it calls for. Pour into two greased round cake pans. While the cake is baking, make own chocolate frosting, adding a tsp or more of orange flavoring with the vanilla extract and cocoa powder. Once cake has cooled, remove from both pans, onto plates. Spread frosting on both rounds and put one round ontop of the other. If you'd like, you could fill it with a chocolate filling, before frosting it.

you could melt the chocolate and make a sandwich. Put a little bit of butter in a bowl and choclolate chips to melt. Either on the stove or in the microwave. Just put melted chocolate between 2 pieces of bread.I have done it many times when i had nothing else. If you have marshmellow cream or p.b. you could put that in there too. I know I'm weird, but sounds good to me. :)

have cinnamon and white sugar? makes a good dipper for apple slices.

(1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon)

Also a good mix for toast and butter. but make it this way:

Butter the bread (not too thick ) on both sides.
Put the bread in a frying pan like when you make grilled cheese, when it's almost done on one side sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mix and let it finish cooking - repeat on the other side.

let it get crispy on both sides. this is done by cooking patiently over low to med heat. Cheap, easy and so yummy!

I make rocky road candy. I toast slivered almonds. after that I melt chocolate (milk or dark - whatever YOUR preference), toss in the almonds and mini-marshmallows. Make sure everything is well coated with the chocolate. Then drop spoonfuls of the mix onto wax paper to cool.
