ok, this might be a stupid question, but here goes:

i know it's bad to eat when you're not hungry, but what about drinking when you're not thirsty? you're supposed to get a certain amount of water, but are you only supposed to drink it if you're thirsty? or is it bad for me to just sit here and drink about 6 glasses of water without even thinking about it?

Veggies With Ravioli?

This is a debate between me and my husband. I am cooking frozen ravioli, sauce, and garlic bread. I think it's OKAY to also make some veggies to go along with the meal. Husband thinks there is not one veggie that would go well with a ravioli meal.

Argh 'semi-vegetarians' are annoying!!!?

I'm a vegetarian- i don't eat ANIMALS! That includes fish, chicken and red meat. Just because fish aren't as cute as lambs doesn't mean a so-called 'vegetarian' or 'semi-vegetarian' can eat them. What's that about??? Veggies, aren't you sick of being offered fish when you tell people you're a vegetarian? Face it, if you eat fish you are not a vegetarian! Ok, rant over. Thankyou.

If you mix 1 part 70 proof liqueur with 1 part 100 proof liqueur, do you get a 170 proof drink?

If I mix 1 part 70 proof Southern Comfort with 1 part 100 proof Southern Comfort, do I get a 170 proof Southern Comfort drink? If so, how does the math work out?

P.S. I would be mixing the drinks exactly half and half with no additives.

what was your first drink that got you drunk?

mines was Tennents Super Lager (not very classy - but then I am from Glasgow lol) but from then on I liked Electric white cider, Thunderbirds and MD 20/20 (any flavours). Never a Buckfast fan tho...

Mad Dog was surely the predecessor to all these new fangled alcopops all the young uns are drinking nowadays!!

In my day you had to drink turps flavoured with kia ora and coloured with food colourings after a hard days work dan the mines.....

Can you freeze a cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting.?

It's for a miniature wedding cake which I'll be traveling with in an RV. Will need to be frozen about 2 weeks before the happy event. Any recipe hints?
