ok, this might be a stupid question, but here goes:

i know it's bad to eat when you're not hungry, but what about drinking when you're not thirsty? you're supposed to get a certain amount of water, but are you only supposed to drink it if you're thirsty? or is it bad for me to just sit here and drink about 6 glasses of water without even thinking about it?

When you are thirsty it means that your body is already dehydrated. That is why it is recommended that you drink even if you are not thirsty.
However, do not over do it because you might get some ill health effects from too much water too.

Your pee could be colorless. in case you have centred urine you're making your kidneys artwork greater durable. 8 glasses an afternoon isn't too lots. you apart from mght get water from the meals you consume besides. 3 glasses is a splash skinny yet, in the event that they are tall glasses then it is approximately 2 cups each (this is 8 glasses or 8 cups, you be attentive to the small glasses). so which you would be able to be ingesting on the fringe of 6. yet once you're exercising or whether this is amazingly warm you do ought to interchange what you sweat out, so which you do no longer grow to be dehydrated. yet thirst is the 1st sign of dehydration. terrific to sip a splash in the time of the day. And BTW "8 glasses" isn't scientific. It became into basically pulled out of thin air. it became into completley arbitrary.

Its not bad to drink when youre not thirsty. Your body needs 8 8oz glasses a day. Technically if you are thirsty, your body is starting to be dehidrated. If you consistenly drink water, then you wont need to be thirsty!

I drink my 8 glasses of water a day. I dont think its bad if its water. It flushes out your kidneys and is good for you...I was always told if you are feel thirst then you are already somewhat dehydrated and that is your body's way of saying 'hello' need liquid...
