Though some people would disagree with this, no you cannot be part Veggie. :o)... Can you be a part duck? But that is not necesseraly a bad thing. Although I'm a vegetarian, I have nothing against meat eating in principle, just in it's current practice. My choice is a personal one, and must be the same for you. For convenience and cheap prices we unwittingly condone attrocious behaviour on the part of most producers of meat products. If you just can't give up your chicken and pepperoni, then don't. What you might want to do is find a source of chicken that you trust has treated the chicken humanely, has feed it organic and healthy food, not meat products and where they kill it humanely as well, if you can accept such a concept. You might be able to do the same with your pepperoni. A health food store would a good place, or a store that sells organic food, or one excellent source of meat that I frequented when I ate meat were the Menonites, they made the best sausages.
The most important thing is not to fall victim to a definition or a point of view, or the judgment or opinion of others. We need to find the best for us right now, and do the best with that position, accepting that it may change in the future.

Some people become "pollo vegetarian" which means they only eat chicken and no other meat, i forget what pepperroni is made out of but i guess you would still be considered a pollo vegetarain. However you might want to know they do make different kinds of fake pepperoni and chicken that taste like the real thing. You can find these fake meats at most grocery stores or online.

why don't you try being part vegan, and slowly work your way up to being a veg. I am not fully vegan, but i do take on parts of vegans. I do not buy products that where tested on animals, or but fur. You might not buy leather or go to the curicus. I am mostly vegetarian. but one day hope to be vegan. so it may take you some time. add more vegetables to your diet, try cutting back on meat. oh and always be trying to cook really yummy vegetarian meals hear in there. one day you may just chose veggies over meat.

Your not a vegetarian but if you eat less meat you'll be healthier and the animals will appreciate it. Though if you enjoy chicken so much you should read up on how the chicken farmers and processors treat the chickens and decide for yourself it is still worth it.

There are several kinds of vegetarians, howver true vegetarians (or vegans) eat only plant-based food only (i.e. no dairy producst or eggs). Some feel that dairy is okay because no animal was killed to produce milk, cheese, etc. Eggs (at least the unfertilized kind) are anumal protien but less controversial. Some vegetarians will eat fish as the thinking goes "big fish eat small fish so it was going to be eaten anyway"
You either eat plant-based food or not; there is no part-vegetarian.

It's not bad to eat animals after all god did put them on this earth for us to eat or use as see fit. We ride horses and dont ask what they get paid do we. No, because that is what they are used for.Just like cows and pigs and chickens and fish they were put on this world to be used and eaten. Now you can choose how they are slaughtered. Buy your meat directly and find a good humane slaughter house that is the best I can tell you.

Vegetarians, as a whole, do not eat red meat. Some also choose to exclude poultry (pollo-veg) and/or seafood (pesco-veg). Because chicken and fish are indeed meat, it's debatable whether most would call it vegetarianism, but they are accepted forms.
Many veg's, in additon to actual flesh, eliminate non-meat animal products like gelatin and caesin. It varies a lot, though.
Drop all meat, but eat eggs and dairy, you're "lacto-ovo-vegetarian"
Drop all dairy products, and eat eggs, you're "ovo-vegetarian"
Drop eggs in all forms, but consume dairy, you're "lacto-vegetarian"
No eggs OR dairy, plus, no non-meat animal products, including honey, and you're, by definition, "vegan".
Go even further, and eat only plants and plant products (nothing grown with bacteria), and you're "macrobiotic" *please note, some macrobiotics DO eat meat. There's more to the philosophy than being non-meat-eaters. So, it's not technically a form of vegetarianism*
Vow not to cook your food, or do anything but pick and eat, and you're "raw-vegan", "raw-macrobiotic", or just "raw".
SO, to answer your question, there are, in fact, EIGHT forms af vegetarianism. (macro's don't count) pollo, pesco, pollo-pesco, ovo, lacto, lacto-ovo, vegan, and raw.

I think that is why they have vegetarians and vegans? I love animals too but what would happen to them if no one ate meat? What would you do with the male cattle? You only need so many bulls. What about male chickens? There would be no need for pigs. If no one hunted the deer, antelope and elk would over populate and starve to death. I've seen bad winters where you'd see a dead antelope about every mile.

Nope. You're either a vegetarian or you're not.
A friend of mine, Abby, used to be a vegetarian. However, now she will eat chicken if she knows where it's come from, and it has been treated well and killed humanely. Her friend Frankie jokingly calls her a 'traitor' and doesn't consider Abby a real vegetarian like she is (They're still friends, though!)
I have the odd 'vegetarian' day where I won't eat meat, but I wouldn't consider myself vegetarian
