I was thinking of a sky blue and cream color for my wedding. Instead of white i was going to have my dress like a cream bone color and my bridesmaids a sky blue! What do you think?

We want to be original, but not tacky or way out there-no star trek themes- anyone have any good ideas for poems that aren't cheesy, ceremony ideas...and especially ideas to include our two year old son in the ceremony, in a bigger way than ring bearer. We don't belong to a church or really practice any relegion, but we're deeply devoted to each other and want to have a meaningful, personal ceremony, not just all the "do you take this man..." stuff. Thanks.

I'm getting married in September and my fiance and I are each only having three atendents, which is how we want it, but the problem is, I have four brothers, none of whom are gromesman and want them to be part of the wedding, but not ushers, either? We're not having a traditional wedding, so any creativity would be appreciated. Thanks

I was just wondering if this is real and if anyone else had heard of and gone through the steps to recieve the honeymoon and then gone on the honeymoon. I am skeptical about winning a free honeymoon but they said all i have to do is come down and look at something they sell and then even if i purchase nothing the trip is still free.

I've done some research on the internet and I've found some really nice ones but most of them are right next door to another cabin and I don't feel that would be very romantic. Most of them have hot tubs on the back porch but how romantic is that if the people right next to you are on their back porch. :) Does anyone know of any nice cabins that are romantic and a little more secluded?

I am the new sister-in-law of the bride and I hardly know her but I was asked to give a toast at a reception.
What suggestions can you give me?

There are so many traditions & details that brides worry about, that seem to go unnoticed by guests. What things do guests remember & care about?

Ive heard it you wear a corset with a lace up back it will be seen through the dress similar to lace or any pattern. What in the world is a dollar dance?

I first saw it listed under reception activties on a list my DJ had me fill out with things we'd like to have music for, such as cutting the cake. I figured if I didn't know it I didn't want to do it & just moved on. Now I see mention of it from time to time here. I've never heard it or seen it. I've looked it up but only really find music to do it to. Can someone clue me in on this practice?

On February 2nd 2007 my fiancee bought a bridal ring set at walmart in angola, indiana. The ring needed to be sized,he had to pay for it in advance, but they never said exactly when it would be ready. Has anyone ever gotten a ring from there? If so how long did it take to be sized? I thought that maybe there would be a way to track it, but i haven't be able to find a way-not even at walmart.com

My Fiancee and I are planning to elope in Key West. Are wedding announcements necessary?? We have lived together for a while and have already acculumated things that couples register for. I feel sending annoucements is just a tacky way of saying "Hey, send me a present please! But NO your not invited!" However my mother is insisting!!! Any thoughts???

Anyone know where to start? My best friend and I are helping so many people with their weddings lately and we thought that it would be fun to do this. We have a lot of the resources like friends to help with a website and bakers, caterers, florists, dj's and access to a company that would give us deals on stuff that you'd need for receptions. Our significant others are on board with us wanting to do this too. We just don't know where to start. Anyone a wedding planner or know one that could offer some advice? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

The reception is in Oregon, two weeks after the fact. I'll be sending my dress home with my mom for dry cleaning. I love my dress, and I didn't pay that much for it to be worn once. Is it okay to wear it again at the reception?
