There is this guy who has been acting like a player and he knows it but he said he likes me and wants to change? Is he for real or is this just a line?

alright. so im 20 and the guy is 34. (has a son but not married)
i met him while helping out at my moms store and instantly we just got along really well. the first time we met we just talked alot and all that. in the beginning i didnt think anything of him. i just thought he was another nice guy, nice customer that i could talk too. that sort of thing. but everytime he came and each time we talked. i just kept getting drawn to him. we talk about everything. and he always tells me that if i need to talk about anything, that i can always go to him. this guy is really sincere and has a good heart. we talk about relationships and all that all the time. he did tell me that he was dating someone. then broke up. i know that we can never be together. but do you think he feels the same way? its like the sort of thing..where it could be..but it will never be. you just fantasize about it. just the way he talks to me and seems to care about me..

i met a guy at his work and we started talking. he asked me how old i was and since i was turning 17 in a week. i said i was 17. (he is 18). i didnt think that we would keep talking like we did. then when he added me on myspace he saw that it was almost my birthday and wished me a happy 18th. from then i was afraid to tell him the truth because i tought he would just leave me. now weve been together for about 3 months and he still thinks im 18. im afraid he will think that ive been lying about everything. i didnt think id ever fall for him...so i didnt feel the need to tell him that. now we both love eachother..except he doesnt know the truth. how do i tell him to where he would understand? thank you so much.

I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years. I have known him for 7 years. He is a great guy and I love him a lot, however, I find myself questioning out relationship every now any then. We never have dates or go out. I am 22 and still want the excitement and spark. I want our relationship to be exciting like it used to be. I know he is stressed with work and money, but this has been the case for about a year and a half now. We don't live together, but sleep together every night. Usually I just see him for 30 mins to an hour each night. It just isn't as exciting as it used to be. I love him a lot, but is it normal for a relationship to get like this after awhile? I used to want to marry him and I still do...but I want to feel special again. I need advice. Am I wasting my time or is this just a phase? I really don't want it to be over with us but I want the excitement back. Anyone that is married or have been in a relationship for several years, I am really looking for your response! ty!

I was with my boyfriend (who is now my ex) since Febuary 2007 on and off 'till August 2007. The last time we made up (got back together again) was the 1st day of high school (August 2007) One of the reasons we kept making up and breaking up so much was because well he plays basketball on a team and of course they're are cheerleaders there. People say he was with 3 of them...but that was just a rumor and I only found that out when we broke up, which was when I found out that he liked a girl named Brittany we are friends (but I'm kind of faking with her) Anyways the point is I still like my ex maybe I love him. I sent him a text message saying I did but he didn't get the text. I even asked. Do you think he is lieing? I would just go up to him and say I want to be with him like I always did and then he said yea, he liked me too. I can tell he likes me but...I have a boyfriend already I like my boyfriend and I like my ex. Advice please!!

I was dating this guy for 3 months and did not know he had a gf. To make things worse his gf went to the same school as me. He was good at juggling two girls. Idiot had a party and invited both of us, and I saw them kissing and left. I texted him dont talk to me ever again. The next day he tried to explain he was stuck with this girl but he liked me more. I went bye! That night he showed up with flowers and said i am not going to stop being friends but hopefully we will be together in the future. I said this does not make sense. I think it sucks for the girl, she deserves to know the truth. I really liked this boy, but would never be with him. I feel so gross and wrong, what should i do?

While it's not that big of an age gap.. only 4 years.. I think our exact ages are the problem. I'm 24 years old, and this guy I'm talking to is 20. He's also a virgin. He really wants something serious, but I'm hesitant.. I'm too old for him, no? We get along great and everything, but I can't help but feel guilty that I've already experienced so many things he hasn't. He should be with a girl his age, right?! My guy friend is away on training but I want to send a message to him that I was thinking of him and that I miss him without using that exact phrase, as I've used it quite a bit. Do you wish more short men would talk to you, or ask you out? I'am a short man myself standing at a very proud 5'7"...lol...I've been told by many girls that I'm very cute and nice...however when I get around tall women say around 5'10"ish, I think to myself there is NO WAY she could be attracted to me. after I take off this mask(im a werewolf, LOL) I will be going out on my 2nd..well 2nd and a half date tonite....I gave the custom peck on the cheek the first time and got attacked..yea I said it attacked...it was cool:) then I hung out with her for lunch and a little lip action happened....now she is takin me out in her brand new Acura to cruise around...omg...been like 10 months or more since I dated and dont know what to expect next....should I just stick to the kissin aka 2nd base stuff or what. she is a tad younger than me at 23...but she is sooooo sexy hot...great kissable lips...what do I do or expect next...

If your in a realtionship, id like to hear your story on how you met your black gf or white bf. Im white love black woman, and very frustrated..Seems impossible. Hard enough to find a person u get along with in general add race even harder. Ive been approaching Blk woman, can get them to flirt even get numbers, but thats as far as it goes. Most of them havent dated white and dont seem to go for it, or maybe its just me there not interested in fully. ive been looking in good places, at least i think. Ive been dating a musician who lives in my apt bldg for about 3 months. The other night we had a conversation on agreeing to be monagamous. The next night when I got home I walked past his apt and heard a girl's voice and loud music, at one point I thought I heard 2 different females and also heard music coming from his studio - really loud. I called him twice and even knocked on his door 3 times, but he didn't answer either. I ignored his msgs the day after and decided to respond to him the 2nd day. I didn't want to blame him for something that didn't happen, so I just asked him what he did that night. He said 2 females - his manager and another artist were over recording new stuff and working. Should I give him the benefit of the doubt? My gut tells me to trust him based on all his actions prior to this which make me believe he really likes me. But, I don't want to be played.

This is a general question, not personal, so please don't give me pointers on recognizing that perfect someone.

So, if a good friend of yours came up to you and said "I'm madly in love and getting married tomorrow" what's the minimum time you think they should know each other so you'd be comfortable with this marriage?

One day? One month? One year?

(Obviously there's a lot of other things to consider... like why they're planning their wedding for tomorrow, but I'm mostly just interested in the length of time, generally, that you think a couple should know each other before making a serious, life-long commitment to each other.)

My boyfriend is in financial trouble and he works at Ups only comes home with $120 each week which to his Dad is not enough since every week he pays him ALL of the paycheck; then ends up.. being broke and he can't do anything about it since hes afraid of being kicked out of the house.
