Black woman, white men..share your story how you met?

If your in a realtionship, id like to hear your story on how you met your black gf or white bf. Im white love black woman, and very frustrated..Seems impossible. Hard enough to find a person u get along with in general add race even harder. Ive been approaching Blk woman, can get them to flirt even get numbers, but thats as far as it goes. Most of them havent dated white and dont seem to go for it, or maybe its just me there not interested in fully. ive been looking in good places, at least i think. Girl i really like hasnt dated white, flirts sometimes, gave me her number, but dosnt really seem all that interested! hate this lol..now im ranting. but please share your stories on this impossible happening! lol

My ex was white. **SIGH** And it's not the fact he was white that makes me dislike the thought of him, but just who he was. Anyhow, we were together 3 years, and I guess it wasn't all bad, so I'll share the story of how we met as you've asked.


So he moved to my block one summer, I really hadn't noticed new or different neighbors. He used to say he noticed me all the time when I'd walk by, and he would tell his friend "I'm going to get her", though I never noticed him.
One day, I was out in my front yard. I had moved some of my dads cement bags because I didn't like where he had left them, and he got upset and told me to move them back onto the porch because they'd be ruined if it rained. So there I was outside, struggling with these 2 ton bags, and my ex walked by and asked if he could help. I was going to say "no" - little indepenent me - but I did say 'yes' and he put them up for me. He left, and I thought nothing more of it. A few weeks later, we ran into each other at the corner store and exchanged numbers.... then it kinda just happened.

Not so much of a story I guess, but I think that the issue may be that not many black women think white men are really attracted to them. Most of the time, if I have a feeling a white man is attracted to me, or coming on to me, I think - and I'm sure the feeling is relatively universal - that he is just feeling "wild" or "curious", you know? Like he would want me to be his little 'exotic black secret'. I don't know.

Unfortunately, she may not be taking you seriously, by the sounds of it.
DO NOT be overly persistent, no woman likes that. But continue to pay attention to her. Do little things that show her you care about her person, and that you genuinely want to get to know her - if you really, genuinely do. Treat her a way that she can look past your colour, and realize that no man has ever treated her like that before.

These are not the things my ex did. I'm not speaking from a race perspective, just a realistic one.

I'm a black woman and I don't care what black men do. That's their business whether they want to date a white woman. As a black woman I have no right to get into any black man's business about who he wants to be with. I have dated white men and I wouldn't have liked if someone was doing the same to me. It really doesn't matter who were with. Were all part of the human race and for the people that do have problems with this type of thing then they have issues of their own that they need to resolve.

wow this is tough, firstly I am black and can never tell if a white guy is flirting cos I have had it stick in my head that white guys don't go for black women! Thats the way it has always been, they (mostly) stick to their own, unlike the black man. But thats ok people are people at the end of the day.

Keep trying, but don't try too hard, just make a women feel comfortable, let them no white men are just as good a blacks.

I no cos my man is white!

We met at the library not at all interesting he helped me find books for a research paper I was doing. Been together ever since (2yrs) and my ex who is also white we grew up together.
