Singles & Dating - 7 September 2007

Ok, so I've been talking to this girl. we recently met in person, but now our only contact is through e-mail. We get on to talk late night nearly everyday for 45 minutes or so tops. Anyway, we both play hard to get, but im more naturally sensitive than her. Anyway, it got bad tonight because I called her annoying. I was teasing, but she took it seriously and then I was like "i'll make it up by taking you out on a date." and she said "heck no! I'm gonna pass pal" (which was a turn-off) and then I proceeded to be a little "rude" by saying that she can take it or leave it. She then got upset and said I was being annoying. Anyway, the night ended OK but I still feel there is some odd tension. Now, is she really upset about it or is she trying to get attention? She knows im more sensitive but I'm trying to not come off as a pushover to her. Anyway, should I make a genuine apology tomorrow or sunday? Should I do it at all? And if so should I wait a few days? Help a bro out

...build you up to let you down. I can't count how many guys act like they're so nice and great then they disappear in a flash? It would be one thing if they didn't treat you right to begin with, but why do they have to act like they're the nicest guys in the world before they end up like creeps? They say they are simple creatures but they aren't. Sleep with them too early, they don't like it, wait too long, they sleep with other people. Tell you everythng you wait to hear, then bail like cowardly bastards. Men are the strong ones? Please! Why are they always coming up with some excuse to run away? They want a good woman, but get scared? Ladies, help me out. Men don't make enough sense and are therefore incapable of shedding light on this subject.

I like this guy alot and have been for sometime, Whenever we do talk (which hasn't been since before summer) it's great, we can talk for a long time, but the prob is that everytime i see him, its a passing in the hallway, and boh of us always have our friends w/ us so we can't excactly leave them. But when ever we do pass, he'll always look at me. He's really sweet and i'm hoping that i will get to go to home coming w/ him.


What can i do? I really need help.

okay i have been with this girl for 2 months now and it's a crazy situation. she was recently seperated from her ex-husband when i met her (though i didn't know how recently until a month in). they have 3 kids together so she has to have some contact with him. while i have been with her he sends her texts sometimes telling her he's in love with her, other times perverted stuff. this of course bothers me but she says she can't do anything about it because they have kids so she can't just cut off contact. anyways the other night while i was at work apparently he called her and said that thier daughter was crying for her mom. she says she went over there and fell asleep. doesn't seem right to me. what should i do.

Today I told my bf after school, that I thought he was being too 'clingy' because he said he loved me twice, and were just in a begining of a realationship and also how he wanted to come along to the halloween dance with me and my group of friends, and i told him today that it made me feel unconftorable and that i feel like i need a bit of space and then i gave him a hug and walked home. but also i feel like he is clingy with his words, or something but he's not really flirting with me... like on our first date i kept thinking "why hasnt he out his arm around me" well, now im thinking he was probably shy at the time. so idk i kinda pushed him to kinda do that when i rested my head on his shoulder in the movies, and he held my hand, i did that to show him i want to be flirted with, and i rather did that than confront him about that too, because it would feel awkward to confront him about why he isnt flirting , 1 sec

So I am a sophomore, && my best friend is a junior. I liked him for about 3 months before telling him. He said he liked me also, but really didn't want to have a relationship because he just really doesn't want one right now, and that I understand. So I thought I was really over him. My other friend, who is also a junior, just told me he liked me. I told him that I liked him too, because I do, but he hasn't asked me out yet. My first friend, left home about 3 days ago. No one had heard from him, or knew where he was. I was really worried. I told my friend that I loved him. I know that I really dont know what love is, and I'm not saying I do, but I really do care deeply about him. Hes coming home now, so I feel better. I just don't know what to do about the other guy. Yes, I do have some feelings for him, but I dont know that its enough. He plans to ask me out monday. I kinda feel like I lied to him, or that he will think that. Suggestions on how to deal with this? And explain myself?

This is purely a logical type question so please remove any moral belief from it please. Back before legal abortions on demand there was a phrase called "if you play you pay" meaning if you had sex and the girl got pregnant then both parties would be stuck with the baby, either by marriage or child support. The US Supreme Court said that women are the only ones that can chose to have an abortion or not because it is their bodies and is a matter of privacy. It is HER choice to have a kid. If the man wants it but she doesn't the man has no choice if she aborts. So why then, if it is HER choice to have the baby, does the man have to pay child support for her choice? It was HER choice to have the baby so why should the man be stuck with the ramificatins of HER choices, after all, it was a private matter and HER CHOICE?

Ok well a few months ago I caught my 21-year old boyfriend looking at a whole bunch of porn online. I got really creeped out because he was looking at mostly legal porn, but he also downloaded a few things in limewire that were illegal (child porn, pthc). He was also looking at anime porn. I don't understand because we'd have sex almost everynight but he'd still go online after I fell asleep and he'd look at this porn 3 feet away from me while I was sleeping. He's been looking at porn for a long time so I see from looking at my temp internet files. When I found out I was extremely upset. Is he a pedophile? Should I break up with him if he's not doing it anymore? I'm really not sure what to do.

My boyfriend, Shawn said he wanted to have a baby... That is something that I don't agree on but he wants to have a threesome... I just want to be happy, i am a christian raised in a baptist church and i know all the "answers" but that does not seem to help, i am 22 and i have only had one real girlfriend 2 years ago, i want to date someone i ask but never a date, i am lonley and want to be married, i just want life to begin. i love god but i dont seem to be able to get close to him, i still feel empty and lost. i have a great job and i thank God for it but i also still feel like a looser.....
