Why are men such an unattractive gender?

I've noticed about half of the women I see or more are attractive. About 1% of the guys I see are attractive.

I'm a straight woman, which sucks, cuz men are so ugly in general.

So why do men have to be so ugly?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Women have something that is more pleasing to the eye I agree, but in every man I can see a level of attraction. It's the guys that are well into middle age who let it go ... but women do that too. Women are soft and rounded, usually. Men have hard lines that are not forgiving, their body almost demands you take them for what they are. I think it's not what you SEE, but what you FEEL when you view a person. Personally, I find that attractive in a man, it's very arousing.

You have to accept who they are & find the appeal in that.

Wemon have a high standard they live by and most think of men as either farther figures or just a friend like a brother ,so it is hard for wemon to see a man as attractive if there comparing them all the time.

I understand, i am ugly like most of my fellow men. But some women find something charming about ugliness. It's like when people find David Craig's awkward face attractive, or when Owen Wilson's ugly nose is actually his most attractive feature. It's really weird.

Generalizing here, it seems that many people tend to find soft and curvaceous figures more appealing than blocky figures. Swirls, swishes, flowing figures and images. Arches, domes, rounded cars, etc. Perhaps these figures seem less dangerous and more inviting. The female body conforms to that preference much more than the male body.

Symmetry and proportion are also things that we generally tend to prefer in art, and women also fit that in most cases, whereas men tend to be top-heavy.

Plus hair, sweat, rough skin... often unattractive.

Women also often take better care of themselves. They usually maintain better hygeine. They spend more time trying to appear fresh, more time trying to smell pleasant, more time watching their posture and poise... etc. Women naturally -try- to be more attractive, and they succeed in it.

1) Or u are surrounded by very ugly people
2) There is something in ur mind that is making you see guys physically unattractive. Maybe is not that u dont like them physically, maybe is something beyong that that is not letting you connect to them and u reject them.
Go see a Doctor.. and please... dont let crazy friends to start telling u to experiment with girls or stuff, b/c instead of helping u they will confuse u.
See a doctor , get some therapy, tell her what is going on b/c that is not normal if u are 15 and up,. its not ok that u think in that way.

If this is a problem for you then maybe you should try and be with women, I'm sensing some built up in the closet bi curious feelings coming from you... try a woman and you would find yourself to be more happy...

I think more than 1% of men are hot! IDK Maybe u live in a place full of ugly men. But most guys are hot, maybe not completely hot on the outside, but u can certainly find something hot in either their behavior, attitude, voice, feelings......but you have to find it, it's not all superficial!

bcuz some guys dont give a damn what they look/smell like its like U COULD AT LEAST PUT ON SOME AXE TO COVER THAT SMELL, GOD ............

but most of them actually care what other ppl think of them like most of the guys in MY grade HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol awesomeful ppl =]
