Singles & Dating - 7 September 2007

So here is the deal. In school my girlfriend doesn't like to hug, hold hands, me put my arm around her, lightly hold her waist or anything like that... but she told me that is was fine to do that.

Well, comes to find out that she talks to other people, and she told them that she never wants to touch me again, or for me to touch her.... just high fives.

We're 16, I would like a hug now and then, I mean I understand that at school ya know we don't have to, but like at vball games (she cant date yet) and stuff ya know a simple hug goodbye would do...

What should I do?

p.s. she doesn't know, that i heard she talked about this to other people... I mean i told her once that if she didnt want to touch then that was fine, i could just spend time with her, but what bothers me is that she cant approach me about this.

Last night my boyfriend went out with his friend "Joe" to get a drink at a bar. Then they went to a restaurant/bar to meet my bf's friend "Sue". Shes leaving for Iraq in a week and she was pretty wasted. He told me nothing about it until I came to his apartment and...he wasnt there when he told me to come over after work. I was pretty upset. Really upset when he told me that "joe" left them as soon as they got there and they walked through the park and then he walked her home. Now hes going out with her again and some of her friends and one of his friends tonight. I'm not only jealous that hes out with her, but Im jealous that he can actually go out. I had classes all day then worked 7 hours and im exhausted!

this will be a little long bare with me. so there is this girl i have been dating for a few months now and i wanted to give her a surprise gift! so here is my idea! i bought a jar and am going to decorate it theme by what she like in life. she loves the beach wants to be a cop and loves elephants, so i bought a bunch of stickers and am planning on decorating the jar with them and filling the jar with hersheys kisses so that every time she has one it will be like a kiss from me to her! mixed inside i will put a letter of things that i enjoy about her and how i feel when im am around her! so what do you think is it a good idea? answers are appreciated =)

i think i m too nice with people, when i talk to ppl i always have a smile on with me, ....i m a shy person to get friend with just anybody but i was never been the person with full of attitude...

as i said i feel like i m too nice with anyone, may be i should change it... i should;t be smiling everytime... i dunno..
cuz i feel like ppl dont care abt me, they dont show me respect,

I was dating a guy for 7months. He knew I wasn't happy and ready to break up with him. He decided it was best we sleep on this idea and talk about it the next day at 12:30. The next day comes and I don't hear from him until 1:30pm. I am upset and don't answer... therefore i call him back an hour later and he doesn't answer.

We talk 3days later on msn. I tell him, if we're breaking up let's do it now. he says he wants to meet. I tell him fine... pick a day and time you can commit to. he picks monday... 3days later at12:30,1pm
we talk sunday night and our plans are still on. The next day I don't hear from him. I call his cell when we were supposed to meet and his house an hour later

***The whole time we were dating, he never changed his status to nothing in facebook or in a relationship. It remained single... i changed mine to nothing so people would not know my status.

At 2:30 on monday i change my status to single. he see's this and then blocks me on msn.

ok. I just went to high school. And I am joining volleyball and cheerleading. BUt I have to only choose one fall sport. Stupid school rules. Anyways, I have cheerleading whcih makes me "popular", and happy and be with all my friends or I am going with volleyball and be happy wiht no one. Idk. What do you think I should do? K so i have had a boyfriend going on 7 months and there has always been a conflict with friends and him. The trouble is balancing time between my friends and my boyfriend.
Him and I have friday nights as "our night" because we dont go to the same school, but my friends always want to hang on fridays too.
I keep switching off but both sides get their feelings hurt when its not them.

I broke up with my ex 1 year ago because he did not want to get married. We still talked a lot after we "broke up" so i felt we were still together in a way. Anyway, he never told me but i later found out he started seeing someone else. Long story short i asked him if he would like to get back together again and he says "it's never good to go back" so basically no. I know he would like to remain friends but i know i cannot handle being friends with him while he is dating someone else. it hurts too much and he knows that. I told him that I don't think we should have contact anymore unless he wants to have a commited relationship with me and then we could talk. He told me he understood. But he still calls me every 2- 3 weeks. Once I did not pick up and he left a message saying that he knew I did not want to be friends but he felt like calling so he did and that it was nice just hearing my voice. He has also called me again but does not want to get back together. Why is he calling me??h

What can I do? I start shaking and feeling really scared, like I'm going to cry when he does. And he's constantly doing it! He's two years older than me, I'm only 14! Plus he's doing it in front of my crush, which makes it more uncomfortable and embarrassing. Any advice?

See, here's the scenario:

I like this guy, I mean, i really, really like him. The only problem: he has a totally hot girlfriend. And my friend likes him.
But he's everything i look for in a guy... and he obviously really likes me too.
Everyone keeps saying I should ask him out, but i'm a little scared, beacsue I don't wanna be a homewrecker and he's sorta my friend and might say no and then things would be akward.

He dumped me because, quote, "(1) You treat my friends terribly, and, (2) I just got bored of you." Okay, first of all, I treated all of his real friends just fine, and also, you don't throw a girl away like she was last month's issue of Shonen Jump! I thought we had something, tho, seriously! And what's worse is this ***** that hates me (and I hate her) insisted that she tell me that we weren't together anymore because she 'wanted to see the look on my face'. He cordially agreed. Now he has basically replaced me with her, even tho he used to dislike her just as much as I did. He won't talk to me, return my emails, or anything! I just asked some of yall about my feelings about my boyfriend and some of yall say that he is too old but he's really sweet. He falls in love so easy and treats me like a queen and we just started going out. But we dont see eachother alot. My little sister see him alot more and they hang out and me and him really dont. We have like complet different schudels. When eva he gets a chance to call me or come see me at school he does and I love him for dat cause I was sick at school and he got so sad when he say me as sick as I was. I use to golddigg my boyfriends but I just cant bring myself to do dat to him. For some reason, I don't follow most girl's sense of logic. They want someone nice, someone who would be there for them, someone successful, someone who can make them laugh. Basically, they want someone who will love them. If someone loves them though, that person needs to be desperate for them to a certain degree, don't you agree? However, once girls get the idea that the guy is desperate for them, girls will want to get away from him. I don't get that.

i think that 8-14 year olds shouldn't date. i think this because they are still young and don't know when they took it too far like they thought they were ready to have a child.... but than when they do have a child.. the dad leaves her and the baby.

k well earlier in the summer i found out by one of his friends he liked me.... then we started school and i started liking him.... so i wanted my friend 2 tell him and she said it right when i was like right there. and i was so embarassed, anyway he was like ok..... your the 3rd person 2 tell me that, i think some of his friends overheard me talking..... anyone.... she kinda caught him while he was passing by and he had this kinda look on his face like half smile half weird look, it was really random and i don't think he was expecting it. he kinda looked @ me then looked @ my friend
